Courthouse Lions Club at the Bikers Against Diabetes 2011 on September 24, 2011 Fundraiser
On July 22, 2011, our Lions Club presented the Police Officers Association a donation for a pair of protective gloves. These gloves are to be utilized by police officers to protect them from being poked by a needle when searching a suspect. The Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation is also raising funds for this cause.
During this POA meeting, our own Lion VP Joan Veith was honored and her 80th birthday was celebrated. Our club along with several other of her friends presented donations for the gloves in Joan's honor. Pictures to follow!
